Mokshya Volunteers Founded
Mokshya Volunteers was founded in Nepal with the purpose of creating ethical, meaningful, and community-focused volunteer opportunities that connect responsible travelers with genuine local needs.
Why it started?
Mokshya Volunteers was started with the belief that travel and volunteering should create real, positive impact. Many communities in Nepal have strong traditions, rich culture, and warm hospitality, but limited access to resources, education, and opportunities. At the same time, many travelers wish to experience Nepal in a meaningful way—not just as tourists, but as contributors.
Mokshya Volunteers was created to bridge this gap. The organization began to connect responsible travelers with genuine community needs, ensuring that volunteering is ethical, respectful, and beneficial for everyone involved. The goal has always been to support local communities while offering volunteers a deeper understanding of Nepal’s culture, people, and way of life.
Today, Mokshya Volunteers continues to grow with the same purpose—to make volunteering in Nepal more meaningful, transparent, and impactful.
